Fuel Losses Hid Behind Disconnected Systems
The client faces significant challenges across the fuel value chain: data across logistics, contractors, and site operations was inconsistent and fragmented, limiting trust in operational insights.
Existing ATG and dispensing systems lacked reliability, often requiring manual intervention to reconcile discrepancies. No integrated view spanning fuel ordering, distribution, and actual consumption, making it difficult to trace losses, enforce accountability, or optimize usage. Therefore, opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs were frequently missed due to the absence of advanced analytics and actionable intelligence.

SQE Solution
SQE enhanced the existing Fuel Management System (FMS) into a fully integrated, IoT-enabled end-to-end platform covering procurement, distribution, and consumption analytics.
The solution integrates data from ATG systems, dispensing units, and IoT sensors directly into FMS, providing real-time visibility across the entire fuel lifecycle. Automated alerts detect anomalies and deviations early, reducing dependency on manual checks and interventions.
To move beyond monitoring, SQE introduced machine learning–based analytics to evaluate equipment fuel efficiency (“fuel burn”). These insights generate actionable recommendations, enabling operations teams to identify inefficiencies, improve utilization, and drive continuous optimization.
